<section id="H39F3815BD2644995945AD22F7BE0BDA3" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Autonomy for All Disabled Veterans Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H0E70BF69149F479581051D72759E885B"><enum>2.</enum><header>Increase in amount available to disabled veterans for improvements and structural alterations furnished as part of home health services</header> <subsection id="H0BFC2A9B024147A89D5F9B3C6B9EC6A3"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Increase</header><text>Paragraph (2) of section 1717(a) of title 38, United States Code, is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H10282702F8164FC9A73547B514E8B016"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subparagraph (A)(ii), by striking <quote>$6,800</quote> and inserting <quote>$10,000</quote>; and</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H554C8E92A7C246B2A917ABB67B82BC9C"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subparagraph (B)(ii), by striking <quote>$2,000</quote> and inserting <quote>$10,000</quote>.</text></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="H069180712C3341AD91414F43E8EE18FD"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>The amendments made by subsection (a) shall apply with respect to a veteran who first applies for benefits under section 1717(a)(2) of title 38, United States Code, on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text></subsection> <subsection id="H24C55D89360B4B94B36746DE782FBF7E"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Applicability</header><text>A veteran who exhausts such veteran’s eligibility for benefits under section 1717(a)(2) of title 38, United States Code, before the date of the enactment of this Act, is not entitled to additional benefits under such section by reason of the amendments made by subsection (a).</text></subsection></section> 
<section id="HFC2874E0068A4E379737C446795ED3A3"><enum>3.</enum><header>Adjustment for inflation</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1717(a) of title 38, United States Code, is further amended by adding at the end the following: </text> <quoted-block style="USC" id="H646DC8A937614354BE389B4A121C77D5" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <paragraph id="H710B1E4CF75C4257BAFBB03082925EF8" indent="up1"><enum>(4)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">On an annual basis, the Secretary shall increase the dollar amount in effect under subsection (a)(2) by a percentage equal to the percentage by which the Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers (United States city average) increased during the 12-month period ending with the last month for which Consumer Price Index data is available. In the event that such Consumer Price Index does not increase during such period, the Secretary shall maintain the dollar amount in effect under subsection (a)(2) during the previous fiscal year. </text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section>
