<section id="H763606374735466D95E13C6D9EE8C066" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Inclusion of copper as critical mineral</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 7002(a)(3)(A) of the Energy Act of 2020 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/30/1606">30 U.S.C. 1606(a)(3)(A)</external-xref>) is amended to read as follows:</text> <quoted-block style="OLC" id="H57586D373D24409280E77BC2762A6184" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <subparagraph id="HCDEBBD2F88C64C41A7F422B94C40C602"><enum>(A)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <quote>critical mineral</quote> means—</text> 
<clause id="H8C7DCE38E4644956AB1567017FCBC16B"><enum>(i)</enum><text>copper; and</text></clause> <clause id="HF3BADB3EE15941EB90FEA22719EC20F4"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>any mineral, element, substance, or material designated as critical by the Secretary under subsection (c).</text></clause> </subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section>
