                                 A BILL


 
To direct the President to impose sanctions on the People's Republic of 
                                 China.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. IMPOSITION OF SANCTIONS ON CHINA.

    The President, acting through the head of the Office of Economic 
Sanctions Policy and Implementation of the Department of State, shall 
impose sanctions on the People's Republic of China in response to 
China's crimes against the American people, currency manipulation, 
intellectual property theft, patent infringement, foreign surveillance 
and invasion of United States airspace, the enslavement of the Uyghur 
Muslims, use of child labor, and the responsibility of the more than 
one million deaths of United States citizens as a result of COVID-19.
