Short title

This Act may be cited as the Restoring Rights of Physicians to Own Hospitals Act.

Repealing requirements for Hospitals To Qualify for Rural Provider and Hospital Exception to Ownership or Investment Prohibition

Section 1877 of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395nn) is amended— (1)in subsection (d)(2)— (A)in subparagraph (A), at the end, by inserting and; (B)in subparagraph (B), at the end, by striking ; and and inserting a period; and (C)by striking subparagraph (C); (2)in subsection (d)(3)— (A)in subparagraph (B), at the end, by inserting and; (B)in subparagraph (C), at the end, by striking ; and and inserting a period; and (C)by striking subparagraph (D); and (3)by striking subsection (i).
