           referred to the Committee on House Administration

                                 A BILL


 
   To provide for a limitation on availability of funds for House of 
   Representatives, Salaries and Expenses of the Office of Inspector 
                     General for fiscal year 2024.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. LIMITATION ON AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS FOR HOUSE OF 
              REPRESENTATIVES, SALARIES AND EXPENSES OF THE OFFICE OF 
              INSPECTOR GENERAL FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024.

    Notwithstanding any other provision of the law, amounts authorized 
to be appropriated or otherwise available for House of Representatives, 
Salaries and Expenses of the Office of Inspector General for fiscal 
year 2024 may not exceed $5,019,000.
