A BILL
To direct the Secretary of the Interior to issue a new rule removing
the Northern Continental Divide Ecosystem population of grizzly bears
from the Federal list of endangered and threatened wildlife.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Comprehensive Grizzly Bear
Management Act of 2023''.
SEC. 2. REMOVAL OF NORTHERN CONTINENTAL DIVIDE ECOSYSTEM POPULATION OF
GRIZZLY BEARS FROM FEDERAL LIST OF ENDANGERED AND
THREATENED WILDLIFE.
Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this
Act, the Secretary of the Interior shall issue a final rule removing
the Northern Continental Divide Ecosystem population of grizzly bears
from the Federal list of endangered and threatened wildlife without
regard to any other provision of law that applies to the issuance of
such rule. Such issuance and this section shall not be subject to
judicial review.
