Austin stated, <quote>Qatar's support for Operation Allies Refuge was indispensable to the safe transit of Americans and U.S. personnel, allies, partners and Afghans at special risk.</quote>: Now, therefore, be it</text></whereas></preamble><resolution-body><section id="S1" display-inline="yes-display-inline" section-type="undesignated-section"><text>That the Senate—</text><paragraph id="id1ef5d8c392f24784b6b30ff8dfde351e"><enum>(1)</enum><text>thanks the State of Qatar for their pivotal role and support of Operation Allies Refuge; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id1075b226b30e46baada26fa1b7bf750f"><enum>(2)</enum><text>appreciates the State of Qatar’s support to temporarily house thousands of evacuees until they are cleared for follow-on movement. </text></paragraph></section></resolution-body><endorsement><action-date>May 24, 2022</action-date><action-desc>Reported without amendment</action-desc></endorsement></resolution>
