RES. 19</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20210520">May 20, 2021</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="S313">Mr. Sanders</sponsor> introduced the following joint resolution; which was read twice and referred to the <committee-name committee-id="SSFR00">Committee on Foreign Relations</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>JOINT RESOLUTION</legis-type><official-title display="yes">Providing for congressional disapproval of the proposed transfer to Israel of certain defense articles, including defense services and technical data.</official-title></form><resolution-body style="traditional" id="H56912662066047BF9B59551E31E0EB84"><section display-inline="yes-display-inline" section-type="undesignated-section" id="HB0149B2FA2AF4523968751C5480027BA"><enum/><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">That the issuance of a license for the export with respect to any of the following transfers to Israel is prohibited:</text><paragraph id="HA293AADF7B9B49618AAEFFB41B57B239"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The transfer of the following defense articles, including defense services and technical data, described in license document DDTC 20–084, submitted to Congress pursuant to section 36(c) of the Arms Export Control Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/22/2776">22 U.S.C. 2776(c)</external-xref>) on May 5, 2021: The proposed transfer of defense articles, defense services, and technical data to support weapons integration, flight test, and hardware delivery of Joint Direct Attack Munition variants and Small Diameter Bomb Increment I variants for end-use by the Ministry of Defense for Israel. </text></paragraph></section></resolution-body></resolution>
