			 Davis-Bacon wage requirements</header><subsection id="HCD1F97EE250448E688B6564800794C1C"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subchapter IV of <external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/40/31">chapter 31</external-xref> of title 40, United States Code, is repealed.</text></subsection><subsection id="HD82A79F29A27466E8EA5670F869ABE38"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Reference</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Any reference in any law to a requirement under subchapter IV of <external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/40/31">chapter 31</external-xref> of title 40, United States Code, shall be null and void.</text></subsection></section><section id="H7DECC2DEDF844AE1BAD18E099D46AD67"><enum>3.</enum><header>Effective date
 and limitation</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 2, and the amendment made by such section, shall take effect 30 days after the date of enactment of this Act but shall not affect any contract that is—</text><paragraph id="idC954DFED2AC242FF981EF53013214A33"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in existence on the date that is 30 days after such date of enactment; or</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id1DD72C8C1D69407F9D1B13BBB669AF72"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">made pursuant to an invitation for bids outstanding on the date that is 30 days after such date of enactment.</text></paragraph></section></legis-body></bill>
