<official-title>To amend title 5, United States Code, to provide for the halt in pension payments for Members of Congress sentenced for certain offenses, and for other purposes.</official-title>

<section section-type="section-one" id="HF15998726FAF48C98260CBE61A18C3BE"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>No Congressionally Obligated Recurring Revenue Used as Pensions To Incarcerated Officials Now Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>No CORRUPTION Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="HEE85EBEEBECC4E55A25DA60200F28ADC"><enum>2.</enum><header>Forfeiture of pension</header> <subsection id="id966ED96F5D134345BF7EF1CEB76173BE"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 8332(o) of title 5, United States Code, is amended—</text>
<paragraph id="id78187E98D36B4CC498AD99E24643F69D"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by redesignating paragraphs (4), (5), and (6) as paragraphs (5), (6), and (7), respectively; </text></paragraph> <paragraph id="id997CE1B3F4C148D0A7B1996C892F3E21"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by inserting after paragraph (3) the following:</text>

<paragraph id="HB74B128FA4C8436DAABB2847FB03E3AF" indent="up1"><enum>(4)</enum>
<subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H61FDFBDC7889440FBE616145AA488A60"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subject to subparagraph (B), an individual convicted of an offense described in paragraph (2) shall not be eligible to receive any payment of an annuity pursuant to the retirement system under this subchapter or chapter 84, except that this sentence applies only to such payments based on service rendered as a Member (irrespective of when rendered).</text></subparagraph> <subparagraph id="H2D6A458C511543828F37107289B6E894" indent="up1"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">If the conviction of an individual described in subparagraph (A) is overturned on appeal by a court of competent jurisdiction, the individual shall receive payments that the individual would have received but for the application of subparagraph (A).</text></subparagraph>
<subparagraph id="H520DFF27445D4B58B9F4216E14ACD91A" indent="up1"><enum>(C)</enum><text>This paragraph applies only to a conviction that occurs after the date of enactment of the <short-title>No Congressionally Obligated Recurring Revenue Used as Pensions To Incarcerated Officials Now Act</short-title>.</text></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>;</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph> <paragraph id="id4704BDEB5E6540CD8AFC1F37B46426BC"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in paragraph (5)(B)(i), as so redesignated, by striking <quote>paragraph (5)</quote> and inserting <quote>paragraph (6)</quote>; and</text></paragraph>
<paragraph id="id7B6B6CA529B54C8FA5B4B80590F7058E"><enum>(4)</enum><text>in paragraph (6), as so redesignated, by striking <quote>paragraph (4)(B)</quote> and inserting <quote>paragraph (5)(B)</quote>.</text></paragraph></subsection> <subsection id="id41DD0093206D449D8CE2D4B8992A58C5"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Technical and conforming amendment</header><text>Section 719(e)(2) of title 38, United States Code, is amended by striking <quote>section 8332(o)(5)</quote> and inserting <quote>section 8332(o)(6)</quote>.</text></subsection></section>
