which was read twice and referred to the <committee-name committee-id="SLIA00">Committee on Indian Affairs</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title>To amend the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 to make a technical correction to the water rights settlement for the Shoshone-Paiute Tribes of the Duck Valley Reservation, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body display-enacting-clause="yes-display-enacting-clause"><section section-type="section-one" id="S1"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Technical Correction to the Shoshone-Paiute Tribes of the Duck Valley Reservation Water Rights Settlement Act of 2021</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="idCF594DA2452A4381A5ADF48C628F8722"><enum>2.</enum><header>Authorization of payment of interest on trust funds established under settlement</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 10807 of the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/111/11">Public Law 111–11</external-xref>; 123 Stat. 1408) is amended—</text><paragraph id="id129AA205EBC143AAA3889FBA5CB96D14"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection (b)(3)—</text><subparagraph id="id781A1ED5F4F14DBDA56D5658BE77F67F"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking <quote>There is</quote> and inserting the following:</text><quoted-block style="OLC" id="id00778A7C10B1418FBFCF3D1B2A8A1D91" act-name=""><subparagraph id="idBD593A4425FD4E619852DAD375D364C9"><enum>(A)</enum><header>In general</header><text>There is</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subparagraph><subparagraph id="id2E010704761D4A8C808F826BA135CD38"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following:</text><quoted-block style="OLC" id="id2A74E0D1EE184FE3B3E598964D4FB9B6" act-name=""><subparagraph id="id3AA196C4023943CA81152F6FDA31738D"><enum>(B)</enum><header>Interest payments</header><text>There is authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary for deposit into the Development Fund the interest that would have accrued during the period beginning on October 1, 2009, and ending on January 25, 2016, on balances held in the Development Fund, as calculated using the applicable rate for interest-bearing obligations of the United States if the amounts in the Development Fund had been invested in accordance with—</text><clause id="idD3CF32E48DAD49ACB7210DC7374E07C6"><enum>(i)</enum><text>the Act of April 1, 1880 (21 Stat. 70, chapter 41; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/25/161">25 U.S.C. 161</external-xref>); and</text></clause><clause id="id71325CD643774258973FCB3B544293B0"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>the first section of the Act of June 24, 1938 (52 Stat. 1037, chapter 648; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/25/162a">25 U.S.C. 162a</external-xref>).</text></clause></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="idBBA278512A1040438A74D55A1DDD7F97"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (c)(3)—</text><subparagraph id="id6DFF728E0ADF4C41BFF1B9DF4D293B4C"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking <quote>There is</quote> and inserting the following:</text><quoted-block style="OLC" id="idB870CE33A40B4E42BFCD0684E51C44BC" act-name=""><subparagraph id="idE8BAC5FC1AD143B0AA5C7E4015E00CB0"><enum>(A)</enum><header>In general</header><text>There is</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>;
