 title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>National Right-to-Work Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" section-type="subsequent-section" id="idCD81084EC51340528F260AB1A2C213F3"><enum>2.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Amendments to
			 the National Labor Relations Act</header><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idEA83F534CDB448E1B7ABF029043E2459"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Rights of
 employees</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/157">29 U.S.C. 157</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>except to</quote> and all that follows through <quote>authorized in section 8(a)(3)</quote>.</text></subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id255592EE877549878C8BC146DE59EF69"><enum>(b)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Unfair labor
 practices</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 8 of the National Labor Relations Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/158">29 U.S.C. 158</external-xref>) is amended—</text><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id95041DECAB0341909844825E931E57FF"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subsection (a)(3), by striking <quote>: <italic>Provided</italic>, That</quote> and all that follows through <quote>retaining membership</quote>;</text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id56820A66DA27425392006E34A560CB8D"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subsection (b)—</text><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id8782CBD79F7046B1AEBB5C403307A972"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in paragraph (2), by striking <quote>or to discriminate</quote> and all that follows through <quote>retaining membership</quote>; and</text></subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id4977DDE1599C4F158C5E44801525E3B7"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in paragraph (5), by striking <quote>covered by an agreement authorized under subsection (a)(3)</quote>; and</text></subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id0F2C317F8E2B4C168E8586EEF633793C"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subsection (f)—</text><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idF2C2F991448542EA81648CDE2BAD8536"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by striking clause (2) and redesignating clauses (3) and (4) as clauses (2) and (3), respectively; and</text></subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idD2F574CC59CB46E48B9BC17B40D1DBE9"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by striking <quote><italic>Provided, </italic>That nothing in this subsection shall set aside the final proviso to section 8(a)(3) of this Act: <italic>Provided further</italic>,</quote> and inserting <quote><italic>Provided</italic>,</quote>.</text></subparagraph></paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id334B702BD17D410D96604724476222A2"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Additional conforming amendments</header><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id15CE116182684FC399C41AE8BB6F8536"><enum>(1)</enum><header>National Labor Relations Act</header><text>The National Labor Relations Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/151">29 U.S.C. 151</external-xref> et seq.) is amended—</text><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id64FD3E8863DB46E7A4D228AD4A051E58"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in section 9 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/159">29 U.S.C. 159</external-xref>), by striking subsection (e);</text></subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id0DB866589EF845C9813497DE7586C17B"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in section 3(b) (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/153">29 U.S.C. 153(b)</external-xref>), by striking <quote>or (e)</quote>; and</text></subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id7CF48DC9A9AF4ED6B3C98B7B7674AC67"><enum>(C)</enum><text>in section 8(f) (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/158">29 U.S.C. 158(f)</external-xref>), as amended by subsection (b)(3), by striking <quote>or 9(e)</quote>.</text></subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idF1C413E84CF04F86AB5BB7067EE78B50"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Other laws</header><text>Section 453A(a)(2)(B)(ii) of the Social Security Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/653a">42 U.S.C. 653a(a)(2)(B)(ii)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>section 8(f)(3)</quote> and inserting <quote>section 8(f)(2)</quote>.</text></paragraph></subsection></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" section-type="subsequent-section" id="idB4F25569E3F042B19B4631E18515D954"><enum>3.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Amendment to the Railway Labor Act</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 2 of the Railway Labor Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/45/152">45 U.S.C. 152</external-xref>) is amended—</text><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id85AD4721E601417EBF9CC345DA642F42"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by striking the Eleventh paragraph under the heading for general duties; and</text></paragraph><paragraph display-inline="no-display-inline" commented="no" id="id54DF398B019F42808C7ED4E4EAC8B005"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by redesignating the Twelfth paragraph under the heading for general duties as the Eleventh paragraph.</text></paragraph></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" section-type="subsequent-section" id="id44A650512CC046CCABF5A4468AA83583"><enum>4.</enum><header>Effective date</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act, and the amendments made by this Act, shall apply to any agreement entered into or renewed after the date of enactment of this Act.</text></section></legis-body></bill>
