<distribution-code display="yes">II</distribution-code><congress>117th CONGRESS</congress><session>2d Session</session><legis-num>S. 3693</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES</current-chamber><action><action-date date="20220217">February 17, 2022</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="S408">Mr. Hickenlooper</sponsor> (for himself and <cosponsor name-id="S401">Mr. Romney</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the <committee-name committee-id="SSEG00">Committee on Energy and Natural Resources</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title>To authorize the Secretary of the Interior to continue to implement endangered fish recovery programs for the Upper Colorado and San Juan River Basins, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body style="OLC" display-enacting-clause="yes-display-enacting-clause" id="H0C1B2725FBEA40059B7A43EE2D6E5AB7"><section section-type="section-one" id="H809516673E5B411D8FF5CD374E03A3CC"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Upper Colorado and San Juan River Basins Recovery Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="HD232A8C7C7474184AECE9D323106D292"><enum>2.</enum><header>Extension of authorizations related to fish recovery programs</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 3 of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/106/392">Public Law 106–392</external-xref> (114 Stat. 1603 et seq.) is amended—</text><paragraph id="HEF8ED3DB1D3E4AC98E770C0BE982885E"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking <quote>2023</quote> each place it appears and inserting <quote>2024</quote>;</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id362e648d1c98466b97dea3f6369e6cb2"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (b)(1), by striking <quote>$179,000,000</quote> and inserting <quote>$184,000,000</quote>;</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id9e847ec5cf1c4c0a982692d7c666cf0c"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in subsection (b)(2), by striking <quote>$30,000,000</quote> and inserting <quote>$25,000,000</quote>; </text></paragraph><paragraph id="HE4AEB3DF18D642B7B1E042ECA5D6F3C2"><enum>(4)</enum><text>in subsection (h), by striking <quote>, at least 1 year prior to such expiration,</quote>; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="HB7185B1EF2674A13B22C04E2FD975B29"><enum>(5)</enum><text>in subsection (j), by striking <quote>2021</quote> each place it appears and inserting <quote>2022</quote>.</text></paragraph></section></legis-body></bill>
