<distribution-code display="yes">II</distribution-code><congress>117th CONGRESS</congress><session>1st Session</session><legis-num>S. 365</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES</current-chamber><action><action-date date="20210223">February 23, 2021</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="S396">Mrs. Blackburn</sponsor> (for herself, <cosponsor name-id="S385">Ms. Cortez Masto</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="S388">Ms. Hassan</cosponsor>, and <cosponsor name-id="S399">Mr. Hawley</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the <committee-name committee-id="SSJU00">Committee on the Judiciary</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title>To amend title 18, United States Code, to require a provider of a report to the CyberTipline related to online sexual exploitation of children to preserve the contents of such report for 180 days, and for other purposes. </official-title></form><legis-body style="OLC" display-enacting-clause="yes-display-enacting-clause" id="H5C63488E1501417185A657B310E4DD5C"><section section-type="section-one" id="id029BF18B9E0B485B9DB8E78C08161A68"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Eliminate Network Distribution of Child Exploitation Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>END Child Exploitation Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="HA25DCF0D218E47EEBE019AA5F35B1E4D"><enum>2.</enum><header>Preservation of reports to CyberTipline related to online sexual exploitation of children</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 2258A(h) of title 18, United States Code, is amended—</text><paragraph id="HE9BF08EA20014B74AFFC09D83CB68D06"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (1), by striking <quote>90 days</quote> and inserting <quote>180 days</quote>; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="H351BA4EAB7204695B0D87B1B1C86E375"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following: </text><quoted-block style="USC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H96383BC2E34C443B963A7DD4FCA034BD"><paragraph id="HE3786A3432E14998B61F86B34FFC1112"><enum>(5)</enum><header>Extension of preservation</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">A provider of a report to the CyberTipline may voluntarily preserve the contents provided in the report (including any comingled content described in paragraph (2)) for longer than 180 days after the submission to the CyberTipline for the purpose of reducing the proliferation of online child sexual exploitation or preventing the online sexual exploitation of children.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></section></legis-body></bill>
