<section section-type="section-one" id="HE3FEEB2818BE464DA5437B78B200538F"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>No Taxpayer Funding for Paris Climate Agreement Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H706C348BBB2C46AE91340DE35D81868C"><enum>2.</enum><header>Prohibition on use of funds to provide for the United States to become a party to the Paris Agreement</header> <subsection id="H513AFE25C3AA4D5AB94342579A173B25"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no funds may be appropriated, obligated, or expended to take any action to provide for the United States to become a party to the Paris Agreement.</text></subsection>
<subsection id="HF95011FF2F014F7D8538183EC9FDE604"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Paris Agreement defined</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In this section, the term <term>Paris Agreement</term> means the decision by the 21st Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Paris, France, adopted December 12, 2015. </text></subsection></section> </legis-body> </bill>
