<distribution-code display="yes">II</distribution-code><calendar>Calendar No. 394</calendar><congress>117th CONGRESS</congress><session>2d Session</session><legis-num>S. 3595</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES</current-chamber><action><action-date date="20220208" legis-day="20220203">February 8 (legislative day, February 3), 2022</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="S287">Mr. Cornyn</sponsor> (for himself, <cosponsor name-id="S324">Mrs. Shaheen</cosponsor>, and <cosponsor name-id="S402">Ms. Rosen</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the <committee-name committee-id="SSSB00" added-display-style="italic" deleted-display-style="strikethrough">Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship</committee-name></action-desc></action><action stage="Reported-in-Senate"><action-date date="20220525">May 25, 2022</action-date><action-desc>Reported by <sponsor name-id="S308">Mr. Cardin</sponsor>, without amendment</action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title>To amend the Small Business Act to require the Small Business and Agriculture Regulatory Enforcement Ombudsman to create a centralized website for compliance guides, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body style="OLC" display-enacting-clause="yes-display-enacting-clause" id="HD7AA78DC87534722BF6639A983EBD506"><section section-type="section-one" id="H3677EC08B2004E209DB43F221C119D8E"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>One Stop Shop for Small Business Compliance Act of 2022</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section section-type="subsequent-section" id="H00646D84DEF84D2395D0AE0AE5178193"><enum>2.</enum><header>Centralized website for compliance guides</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 30 of the Small Business Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/657">15 U.S.C. 657</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text><quoted-block style="OLC" id="HC42C527DC5F24C2E9543425661CDF71A"><subsection id="H03596F12F6E947D6A8CA9BB9E61C4080"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Centralized website</header><text>Not later than 6 months after the date of enactment of this subsection, the Ombudsman shall maintain a publicly available website that includes—</text><paragraph id="H9A6B6A6375DD4D1B9B216DE05AEC91ED"><enum>(1)</enum><text>hyperlinks to small entity compliance guides described in section 212(a)(1) of the Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act of 1996 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/5/601">5 U.S.C. 601</external-xref> note); and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="H8ACA244200D04129A1E15B523E90E9EC"><enum>(2)</enum><text>with respect to each small entity compliance guide described in paragraph (1), the contact information for an individual who can offer assistance to small entities with respect to the rules that are the subject of the guide.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H8CD5EE5E8E7941418E7DCE27667759CB"><enum>(f)</enum><header>Report on agency compliance</header><text>The Ombudsman shall include in the annual report required under subsection (b)(2)(C) an assessment of agency compliance with the requirements of section 212 of the Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act of 1996 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/5/601">5 U.S.C. 601</external-xref> note) for the year covered by the annual report.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section></legis-body><endorsement><action-date date="20220525">May 25, 2022</action-date><action-desc>Reported without amendment</action-desc></endorsement></bill>
