Short title

This Act may be cited as the Flu Vaccine Act.

Research for the creation of a universal influenza vaccine or preventative

(a)

In general

The Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases shall conduct or support comprehensive research for the creation of a universal influenza vaccine or preventative.(b)

Authorization of appropriations

To carry out this section, there are authorized to be appropriated $200,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2022 through 2026.
