1.

Short title

This Act may be cited as the Covered Farm Vehicle Modernization Act of 2021.

Exemptions for covered farm vehicles

Section 32934 of MAP–21 (49 U.S.C. 31136 note; Public Law 112–141) is amended—(1)in subsection (a), by adding at the end the following:(6)Any requirement relating to registration under section 31134 of title 49, United States Code, including any requirement relating to a USDOT number under that section.(7)Any requirement relating to registration under the unified carrier registration agreement (as defined in section 14504a(a) of title 49, United States Code).;(2)in subsection (b)—(A)in paragraph (1), by redesignating subparagraphs (A) and (B) as clauses (i) and (ii), respectively, and indenting appropriately;(B)in paragraph (2), by striking Paragraph (1) and inserting Subparagraph (A);(C)by redesignating paragraphs (1) and (2) as subparagraphs (A) and (B), respectively, and indenting appropriately;(D)by inserting before subparagraph (A) (as so designated) the following:(1)

Federal transportation funding

; and(E)by adding at the end the following:(2)

IFTA requirements

A covered farm vehicle and the individual operating that covered farm vehicle shall be exempt from any requirement relating to a license under the International Fuel Tax Agreement (as defined in section 31701 of title 49, United States Code).; and(3)in subsection (c)(1)(B), by striking 26,001 each place it appears and inserting 36,001.
