<whereas><text>Whereas, on March 11, 2022, Gregg Popovich earned his record setting 1,336th win as a head coach when the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Utah Jazz, 104 to 102;</text></whereas> <whereas><text>Whereas Coach Gregg Popovich has led the San Antonio Spurs as Head Coach for 26 seasons;</text></whereas> 
<whereas><text>Whereas, over 26 seasons, Coach Popovich has led the San Antonio Spurs to five National Basketball Association championships in 1999, 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2014;</text></whereas> <whereas><text>Whereas, over 26 seasons, Coach Popovich has led the San Antonio Spurs to six Western Conference Championships in 1999, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2013, and 2014;</text></whereas> 
<whereas><text>Whereas, over 26 seasons, Coach Popovich has been named the National Basketball Association’s Coach of the Year three times, in 2003, 2012, and 2014;</text></whereas> <whereas><text>Whereas, over 26 seasons, Coach Popovich has been named the National Basketball Association’s All-Star Game Head Coach four times in 2005, 2011, 2013, and 2016;</text></whereas> 
<whereas><text>Whereas Coach Popovich led the United States Men’s Olympic Basketball Team as Head Coach to a gold medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics; and</text></whereas> <whereas><text>Whereas Coach Gregg Popovich stated, <quote>All of us share in this record. It’s not mine. It’s ours, here in the city.</quote>: Now, therefore, be it</text></whereas></preamble><resolution-body style="traditional" id="H9D2DEBAA1B574486BB514CD988C4DE14"> 
<section display-inline="yes-display-inline" section-type="undesignated-section" id="H9F13BA9F86DB43198AA1025B3558D5C7"><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">That the House of Representatives—</text> <paragraph id="H21CED19474744465AFC710C6818C88C1"><enum>(1)</enum><text>commends Gregg Popovich for his record-setting 1,336th win as a head coach of the National Basketball Association;</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H38C6B4023D1C4D7AB33D1AEF415E4B67"><enum>(2)</enum><text>recognizes the achievement and dedication of Gregg Popovich and the entire San Antonio Spurs organization, including, players, coaches, and support staff, who have contributed to 1,336 wins over the past 26 seasons; </text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H22E7F722376A428692D02797184C0AFF"><enum>(3)</enum><text>congratulates the citizens of San Antonio, the San Antonio Spurs organization, and Spurs fans everywhere; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H34E7183A07FE4322A2D34CFB3E2B45D1"><enum>(4)</enum><text>requests that the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit an enrolled copy of this resolution to—</text> <subparagraph id="H4AB5EA252B864F5AB20C1826CFEA70E0"><enum>(A)</enum><text>Gregg Popovich, Head Coach of the San Antonio Spurs;</text></subparagraph>
