<section id="H98CCEF8D9BE64B38B4396F46BFD7E336" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Allowance of deductions and credits relating to expenditures in connection with marijuana sales conducted in compliance with State law</header> 
<subsection id="H169B5F45FFB8449EAC1B491004581FC9"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/26/280E">Section 280E</external-xref> of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended by inserting before the period at the end the following: <quote>, unless such trade or business consists of marijuana sales conducted in compliance with State law</quote>.</text></subsection> <subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H89AAA116197A4CD4BBCAE18EE7E6CFEA"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>The amendment made by this section shall apply with respect to taxable years ending after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text></subsection></section>
