Short title

This Act may be cited as the Saracini Enhanced Aviation Safety Act of 2021.

Installation of secondary cockpit barriers on existing aircraft

(a)

In general

Not later than 18 months after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration shall issue an order requiring installation of a secondary cockpit barrier on each covered aircraft.(b)

Covered aircraft

In this section, the term covered aircraft means a commercial passenger aircraft operating under the provisions of part 121 of title 14, Code of Federal Regulations.
