<section id="H41FDC39D54964AAE8FE5B4B94202B9A1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Stop the Censorship Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H3EEFF573243047919D053ADCB48A1080"><enum>2.</enum><header>Revocation of immunities</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 230(c) of the Communications Act of 1934 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/47/230">47 U.S.C. 230(c)</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
<paragraph id="HE06B318147844DCFA18BB81B0D62EF13"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in the heading, by striking <quote><header-in-text level="subsection" style="OLC">and Screening of Offensive Material</header-in-text></quote> and inserting <quote><header-in-text level="subsection" style="OLC">of unlawful or objectionable material</header-in-text></quote>; and</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="HE79D280EC8E6464F9870D4AE05FF1D2E"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in paragraph (2)—</text>
<subparagraph id="HE4340A522F6B436D9874B78CBDC6EA8C"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in subparagraph (A)—</text> <clause id="H6FB64486775146FD8C2B21D0B5AD5639"><enum>(i)</enum><text>by striking <quote>material that the provider or user considers to be obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing, or otherwise objectionable, whether or not such material is constitutionally protected</quote> and inserting <quote>unlawful material</quote>; and</text></clause>
<clause id="H9513320374CE4009AF36F7983CC550F0"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>by striking <quote>; or</quote> and inserting a semicolon;</text></clause></subparagraph> <subparagraph id="H54CD993301A549A096A471567F9B19F2"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in subparagraph (B), by striking <quote>paragraph (1).</quote> and inserting <quote>subparagraph (A); or</quote>; and</text></subparagraph>
<subparagraph id="HE97677D9514243E7B6F3B999B6EE63EF"><enum>(C)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following new subparagraph:</text> <quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H58B8919C371346B6963CF77044EE9A52" style="OLC"> <subparagraph id="HBA42C781DD7B4606874B59889D66427D"><enum>(C)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">any action taken to provide users with the option to restrict access to any other material, whether or not such material is constitutionally protected.</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subparagraph></paragraph></section>
