Short title

This Act may be cited as the Facilitating Large-Scale Water Recycling and Reuse Projects Act.

Additional requirements for eligible projects, repeal of termination of authority, and additional authorization of appropriations for competitive grant program for large-scale water recycling and reuse projects

(a)

Eligible project

Section 40905(c) of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (43 U.S.C. 3205(c)) is amended by striking paragraph (4) and inserting the following:(4)is—(A)constructed, operated, and maintained by an eligible entity; or(B)owned by an eligible entity; and.(b)

Repeal of termination of authority; additional authorization of appropriations

Section 40905 of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (43 U.S.C. 3205) is amended by striking subsection (k) and inserting the following:(k)

Authorization of appropriations

In addition to the amounts made available to carry out this section under section 40901(4)(B), there is authorized to be appropriated to carry out this section $700,000,000, to remain available until expended..
