<section id="H99349511421D4A2498DF10AFBB243622" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Supreme Court Families Security Act of 2022</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H8043F9A11A854B6898AE4F9535F667ED"><enum>2.</enum><header>Authority to protect family members</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 6121(a)(2) of title 40, United States Code, is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H9A4E901CD8EA461186E247482A01F13F"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subparagraph (A), by striking <quote>and</quote> at the end;</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H05A1EDD7A96B4A3DAECC78B5F7A3EFEC"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subparagraph (B), by adding <quote>and</quote> after the semicolon; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H92FCD5D9549648829CC7FAB5C7C9C945"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by adding at the end the following:</text> <quoted-block style="OLC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H44E37165CD5145C39FAD4C12ECB0C28D"> <subparagraph id="H10A34916DD044284B9815E7BF2154F56"><enum>(C)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">any member of the immediate family of any such justice, officer, or employee if the Marshal determines such protection to be necessary.</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></section>
