R. 76</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20210104">January 4, 2021</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="B001305">Mr. Budd</sponsor> (for himself, <cosponsor name-id="G000565">Mr. Gosar</cosponsor>, and <cosponsor name-id="D000626">Mr. Davidson</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HPW00">Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure</committee-name>, and in addition to the Committee on <committee-name committee-id="HBA00">Financial Services</committee-name>, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned</action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To amend the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965 to prohibit the Secretary of Commerce from issuing certain grants to States or political subdivisions of States that restrict or prohibit indoor and outdoor dining, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body id="HC7D367E5C61A44369049DED8C62E247E" style="OLC"><section id="HA4D456A66BDF431C9632EE7D6909335E" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Save our Servers Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="HF0A42C7894CE4035BC8DA1124473D9DD" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Indoor and outdoor dining restriction</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Title II of the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/3141">42 U.S.C. 3141</external-xref> et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following: </text><quoted-block style="OLC" id="H69E7A8BCC8834A4F9F5E3FCBE68BD9D0" display-inline="no-display-inline"><section id="HAD1847C079F4419C8028945B823A298A"><enum>219.</enum><header>Indoor and outdoor dining restriction</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Notwithstanding any other provision of this title, during the period in which a State, or a political subdivision of such State, has passed and is enforcing a law or order restricting or prohibiting indoor or outdoor dining at restaurants, the Secretary may not issue a grant under section 203(a), 205(b), or 207(a) to such State or a political subdivision of such State. </text></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section></legis-body></bill>
