Prohibition on importation of oil and natural gas from the Russian Federation

(a)

In general

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the President shall take such actions as may be necessary to prohibit the importation of oil and natural gas from the Russian Federation. (b)

Regulations

The President shall promulgate such regulations that may be necessary and appropriate to carry out this section. (c)

Effective date; termination

This section— (1)shall take effect on the date that is 30 days after the date of the enactment of this Act; and (2)shall terminate on the date that is 2 years after such date of enactment.
