<section id="HB8C8360DF04A45A485F937EAC99763BD" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Isolate Russian Government Officials Act of 2022</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H8EECB7EFFA1C48CEAECD7FE76ECAA06A"><enum>2.</enum><header>Exclusion of government officials of the Russian Federation</header> <subsection id="H4985E1987ED440EB9B5695269F11F8C3"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Policy of the United States</header><text>It is the policy of the United States to seek to exclude government officials of the Russian Federation, to the maximum extent practicable, from participation in meetings, proceedings, and other activities of the following organizations:</text> 
<paragraph id="HA79AD8ECC8B24B398FED81CDE9E4B078"><enum>(1)</enum><text>Group of 20.</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H63ED8683B1DB4A5AB6298DBD58D3DF8F"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Bank for International Settlements.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HBAFB8157C48348A782ED4B1CDFE6E021"><enum>(3)</enum><text>Basel Committee for Banking Standards.</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H074FDA5DB8664732B6C1120B74A9B17C"><enum>(4)</enum><text>Financial Stability Board.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HA0A8B4497FBF442488FBAE0FD1DB0CA1"><enum>(5)</enum><text>International Association of Insurance Supervisors.</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H977D7BF1EA4B40AD8804D035882D20FA"><enum>(6)</enum><text>International Organization of Securities Commissions.</text></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="HFA59327190F54230B4873B3CB1393157"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Implementation</header><text>The Secretary of the Treasury, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, and the Securities and Exchange Commission, as the case may be, shall take all necessary steps to advance the policy set forth in subsection (a).</text></subsection> <subsection id="H99D5708B92BC4B80A19A3ECAB42CEB04"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Termination</header><text>This section shall have no force or effect on the earlier of—</text> 
<paragraph id="HC99917723453422E891BD5A6F837A586"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the date that is 5 years after the date of enactment of this Act; or</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H7AD303A9A472431D8A189C44FD8BBB9D"><enum>(2)</enum><text>30 days after the date that the President reports to Congress that the government of the Russian Federation has ceased its destabilizing activities with respect to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.</text></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="H5575FDE7902E4CDABA23BA8A7DF646DD"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Waiver</header><text>The President may waive the application of this section if the President reports to the Congress that the waiver is in the national interest of the United States and includes an explanation of the reasons therefor.</text></subsection></section> </legis-body> <attestation><attestation-group><attestation-date date="20220510" chamber="House">Passed the House of Representatives May 11, 2022.</attestation-date><attestor display="no">Cheryl L.
