R. 6737</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20220215">February 15, 2022</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="K000380">Mr. Kildee</sponsor> (for himself, <cosponsor name-id="M001194">Mr. Moolenaar</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="D000624">Mrs. Dingell</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="U000031">Mr. Upton</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="L000581">Mrs. Lawrence</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="M001186">Mr. Meijer</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="L000592">Mr. Levin of Michigan</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="B001301">Mr. Bergman</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="T000481">Ms. Tlaib</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="H001058">Mr. Huizenga</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="S001215">Ms. Stevens</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="W000798">Mr. Walberg</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="S001208">Ms. Slotkin</cosponsor>, and <cosponsor name-id="M001136">Mrs. McClain</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HIF00">Committee on Energy and Commerce</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To amend the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act to extend the authorization of appropriations for the Lead Exposure Registry, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body id="H158F806F5C9F4A9287C3DF12DD392010" style="OLC"><section id="HAEFC8C557CEC4B0D8354FF7C08E6D56A" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Flint Registry Reauthorization Act</short-title></quote>. </text></section><section id="H7A7AA2FFE1344E5085F93BBFD857CDF8"><enum>2.</enum><header>Authorization of Appropriations for Lead Exposure Registry</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 2203(d) of the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/300j-27">42 U.S.C. 300j–27(d)</external-xref>) is amended—</text><paragraph id="HBBA7FC2AE15E4E81B9A85137442334C3"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by redesignating paragraphs (1) and (2) as subparagraphs (A) and (B); </text></paragraph><paragraph id="HBA8C260A347D44A0AC41A79D9EEF1AA4"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking <quote>There</quote> and inserting the following:</text><quoted-block style="OLC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HDEF67D54845045469E4278A256505435"><paragraph id="H42D4E1699DA94A68BBC37E85C6C6C4F6"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Fiscal years 2017 through 2021</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">There</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph><paragraph id="HCAAC57EF7B174596A577CCFC7617E607"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following: </text><quoted-block style="OLC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HE0527EC47E164B7F9641BD5E225B8683"><paragraph id="H7C4D76566CE7412BB3A986B227390906"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Fiscal years 2023 through 2033</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out subsection (b) $5,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2023 through 2033. </text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></section></legis-body></bill>
