R. 6275</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20211214">December 14, 2021</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="M000194">Ms. Mace</sponsor> introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HHM00">Committee on Homeland Security</committee-name>, and in addition to the Committees on <committee-name committee-id="HII00">Natural Resources</committee-name>, and <committee-name committee-id="HJU00">the Judiciary</committee-name>, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned</action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To prohibit the use of Federal funds to administer a COVID–19 vaccine to officers and employees of the U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or certain Department of the Interior officers and employees or require that such officers and employees receive such a vaccine as a condition of employment.</official-title></form><legis-body id="HD00AF42CDE674F8E856B3E66BDCD1DC6" style="OLC"><section id="H795E5E13690E4FCD8E8670FF0465DA38" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>No vaccine mandate for U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or certain Department of the Interior officers and employees</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">No Federal funds may be used to—</text><paragraph id="HBD50A0ABEE0A44778A854DF661BE702F"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">administer a COVID–19 vaccine to—</text><subparagraph id="H250D33F267944440B3E342C9648940BB"><enum>(A)</enum><text>any officer or employee of the U.S. Border Patrol or the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement; or</text></subparagraph><subparagraph id="HB7C07981A7C34FD88DE29FEAF76C5B64"><enum>(B)</enum><text>any officer or employee of the Department of the Interior or the Drug Enforcement Agency who is engaged in activities respecting the construction or maintenance of a border barrier along the souther border of the United States; or</text></subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="H113BCD6067074ADA9CFEB415A240A3F4"><enum>(2)</enum><text>require any such officer or employee to receive such a vaccine as a condition of employment.</text></paragraph></section></legis-body></bill>
