R. 6065</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20211119">November 19, 2021</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="T000463">Mr. Turner</sponsor> (for himself, <cosponsor name-id="D000626">Mr. Davidson</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="J000292">Mr. Johnson of Ohio</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="R000577">Mr. Ryan</cosponsor>, and <cosponsor name-id="C000266">Mr. Chabot</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HIF00">Committee on Energy and Commerce</committee-name>, and in addition to the Committee on <committee-name committee-id="HAS00">Armed Services</committee-name>, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned</action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To authorize the Secretary of Energy to release a reversionary interest in certain real property, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body id="H8B47648D1FD744688C1E3406C024E46B" style="OLC"><section id="H6238699BCC204409807C0BF8F42436F0" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Providing Opportunities for Wider Economic Revitalization Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>POWER Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="H89C25A7A40164CC78F67378D45F7B25E"><enum>2.</enum><header>Release of reversionary interest in certain real property, Springfield, Ohio</header><subsection id="HD039F093185B49A5B47A1426E4495C8E"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Release of reversionary interest authorized</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subject to subsection (b), the Secretary of Energy may release, without reimbursement or other consideration, a reversionary interest acquired by the United States when the National Nuclear Security Administration made a grant to support the acquisition of real property and construction of infrastructure located at 4170 Allium Court in Springfield, Ohio.</text></subsection><subsection id="HA69B032D125A48F393A5A1BD854683D3"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Condition on release</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The authority of the Secretary of Energy to release the reversionary interest described in subsection (a) is conditioned on, and may be exercised only after, the acquisition of title to the real property subject to the reversionary interest by the Community Improvement Corporation of Clark County, a nonprofit entity created by the City of Springfield, Ohio, Clark County, Ohio, and the Chamber of Commerce in the County.</text></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
