R. 5810</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20211102">November 2, 2021</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="V000134">Ms. Van Duyne</sponsor> introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HHM00">Committee on Homeland Security</committee-name>, and in addition to the Committees on <committee-name committee-id="HPW00">Transportation and Infrastructure</committee-name>, and <committee-name committee-id="HGO00">Oversight and Reform</committee-name>, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned</action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To authorize the transfer to Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas of certain materials for the construction of the border wall, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body id="HCA8E939AAFFE464BA47A6B3A8085C03B" style="OLC"><section id="H8F301B96922D4E30B1026B838DCDEE75" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Authorization of transfer of certain materials for border wall</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Notwithstanding <external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/40/5">chapter 5</external-xref> of title 40, United States Code, the Secretary of Homeland Security, and the Secretary of the Army (acting through the Chief of Engineers), may transfer to Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas materials unused as of the date of the enactment of this Act that were obtained through the expenditure of amounts transferred or otherwise made available for the construction of the border wall in each such State, respectively.</text></section></legis-body></bill>
