R. 5702</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20211022">October 22, 2021</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="P000605">Mr. Perry</sponsor> introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HJU00">Committee on the Judiciary</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To prohibit Federal agencies from granting a work authorization to any alien for the purpose of replacing unvaccinated U.S. healthcare workers, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body id="H7BF423A6CE9B4593BDD6AD42D967F447" style="OLC"><section id="H9542AC2DF24F4529A221269385804DB2" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Preventing the Loss of American Jobs due to Unjust Mandates Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="H3C9839FFE506443E908CC8A30330879D"><enum>2.</enum><header>Prohibition on certain work authorizations</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Effective beginning on the date of the enactment of this Act, all Federal agencies are prohibited from granting a work authorization to an alien for the purpose of effectively replacing any unvaccinated U.S. healthcare worker terminated from their position as a result of a local, State, or Federal vaccine mandate.</text></section><section id="HAC3B8D4BF7C5498DBDC1F1EF71019D95"><enum>3.</enum><header>Sense of congress</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline"> It is the sense of Congress that any attempt by a local, State, or Federal official to terminate the employment of U.S. healthcare workers due to a refusal to receive a COVID–19 vaccine is both morally repugnant and unconstitutional.</text></section></legis-body></bill>
