Short title

This Act may be cited as the Streamlining Nutrition Assistance Paperwork Act of 2021 or the SNAP Act of 2021.

Amendment

Section 11(e)(2)(C)(iii)(I) of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2020(e)(2)(C)(iii)(I)) is amended by inserting as audio or in writing after record.

Effective date; Application of amendment

(a)

Effective date

This Act, and the amendment made by this Act, shall take effect on January 1, 2023.(b)

Application of amendment

The amendment made by section 2 shall apply with respect to applications made after the effective date of this Act.
