R. 4749</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20210728">July 28, 2021</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="C001104">Mr. Cawthorn</sponsor> (for himself, <cosponsor name-id="M001184">Mr. Massie</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="P000605">Mr. Perry</cosponsor>, and <cosponsor name-id="D000615">Mr. Duncan</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HIF00">Committee on Energy and Commerce</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To prohibit Federal funds from being made available for certain solicitation of COVID–19 vaccines.</official-title></form><legis-body id="HF53E58C2E6F84A0390C6B79AED9D4B8F" style="OLC"><section id="H82B340E333B54A6A99BB2B4CBFEA9987" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Don’t Knock on My Door Act of 2021</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="H1989E1AEF80545C892954F253CDEB6AF"><enum>2.</enum><header>No Federal funds for certain solicitation of COVID–19 vaccines</header><subsection id="HCDEB8CEEE90242058B0FDE411DFC3108"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">No Federal funds may be authorized to be appropriated or otherwise made available to any Federal, State, or local governmental entity for door-to-door outreach, or for funding a third party to engage in door-to-door outreach, that solicits or coerces an individual to receive a COVID–19 vaccine.</text></subsection><subsection id="H7176EB28EFCB4053977278F9752B6F63"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Definition</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In this section, the term <quote>door-to-door outreach</quote> means any in-person, uninvited outreach.</text></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
