R. 3845</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20210611">June 11, 2021</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="R000600">Mrs. Radewagen</sponsor> (for herself, <cosponsor name-id="H001085">Ms. Houlahan</cosponsor>, and <cosponsor name-id="S001212">Mr. Stauber</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HSM00">Committee on Small Business</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To require the Administrator of the Small Business Administration to issue a rule authorizing the Office of Hearings and Appeals to decide appeals relating to the status of HUBZone business concerns, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body id="HC7A091E845FB4A6188006877BF7C14A5" style="OLC"><section id="HEF2211F5D77F4795BCDD03030987ECD3" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Parity for HUBZone Appeals Act of 2021</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="H0F93235988FD49CBA80A12F2613461F5" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Authority for the Office of Hearings and Appeals to decide appeals relating to qualified HUBZone small business concerns</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Not later than 1 year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Administrator of the Small Business Administration shall issue a rule authorizing the Office of Hearings and Appeals of the Administration to decide all appeals from formal protest determinations in connection with the status of a concern as qualified HUBZone small business concern (as such term is defined in section 31(b) of the Small Business Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/657a">15 U.S.C. 657a(b)</external-xref>).</text></section></legis-body></bill>
