R. 3804</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20210611">June 11, 2021</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="A000376">Mr. Allred</sponsor> (for himself, <cosponsor name-id="S001159">Ms. Strickland</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="S001216">Ms. Schrier</cosponsor>, and <cosponsor name-id="L000593">Mr. Levin of California</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HVR00">Committee on Veterans' Affairs</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To authorize major medical facility projects of the Department of Veterans Affairs for fiscal year 2021.</official-title></form><legis-body id="H1EB6999A0C19405EB1637DF075A865F3" style="OLC"><section id="H44A73FB1607A4E5DAE901F9B4E65C3C7" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Major Medical Facility Authorization Act of 2021</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="H213FC86CD594463F962E722E6743BD86"><enum>2.</enum><header>Authorization of major medical facility projects of Department of Veterans Affairs for fiscal year 2021</header><subsection id="H086C9A9764FD4B9491362BF6BA254127"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>The Secretary of Veterans Affairs may carry out the following major medical facility projects in fiscal year 2021 at the locations specified and in an amount for each project not to exceed the amount specified for such location:</text><paragraph id="HDF2175222CB24FA1939B88E5037628D2"><enum>(1)</enum><text>Construction of an outpatient clinic and national cemetery in Alameda, California, in an amount not to exceed $266,200,000.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="H952E0B19770741AAAAFC7DA443AD43FA"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Construction of a new specialty care building 201 in American Lake, Washington, in an amount not to exceed $110,600,000.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="HF0649793C4254E6481265FE0C777A1AE"><enum>(3)</enum><text>Construction of a community living center and renovation of domiciliary and outpatient facilities in Canandaigua, New York, in an amount not to exceed $383,741,000.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="H8171E52D73834B90A837C9EF75825B32"><enum>(4)</enum><text>Construction of a spinal cord injury center in Dallas, Texas, in an amount not to exceed $249,000,000.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="HA61AAF3F68F74175846B120DDD4A6B0B"><enum>(5)</enum><text>Realignment and closure of the Livermore Campus in Livermore, California, in an amount not to exceed $455,000,000.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="H80386E9288AB4082A9FCF712069EB7FF"><enum>(6)</enum><text>Seismic corrections to the mental health and community living center in Long Beach, California, in an amount not to exceed $367,300,000.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="H4AEA7D0E37DD4D499CD6F6B740FDA550"><enum>(7)</enum><text>Construction of a spinal cord injury building with a community living center, including a parking garage, in San Diego, California, in an amount not to exceed $252,100,000.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H6CEACB18760544B1B2E7194664296389"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Authorization of appropriations</header><text>There is authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary of Veterans Affairs for fiscal year 2021 or the year in which funds are appropriated for the Construction, Major Projects account, $2,083,941,000 for the projects authorized in subsection (a).</text></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
