<section id="H4A18AD33A5104CA1A350D53EF0B8EA15" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Occupational series for digital career fields</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Not later than 270 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, shall, pursuant to <external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/5/51">chapter 51</external-xref> of title 5, United States Code, establish or update existing occupational series covering Federal Government positions in the fields of software development, software engineering, data science, and data management.</text></section> </legis-body> <attestation><attestation-group><attestation-date date="20210930" chamber="House">Passed the House of Representatives September 30, 2021.</attestation-date><attestor display="no">Cheryl L.
