<section id="HBEC4E33EDB9F49308FCA8C1975178533" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Protecting Every Student Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H8468680C5B91414A9E351DC9664EBB3B"><enum>2.</enum><header>Use of unobligated relief funds</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Any Federal funds made available to the Secretary of Education on an emergency or supplemental basis to prevent, prepare for, or respond to the coronavirus pandemic, which as of the date of enactment of this Act, remain unobligated shall be distributed to each State on the basis of the number of children aged 5 through 17 in such State counted in the most recent census data approved by the Secretary of Education, as compared to the number of such children in all States.</text></section>
