R. 2384</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20210408">April 8, 2021</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="B001302">Mr. Biggs</sponsor> (for himself, <cosponsor name-id="D000615">Mr. Duncan</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="S001214">Mr. Steube</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="D000626">Mr. Davidson</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="C001118">Mr. Cline</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="H001084">Ms. Herrell</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="H001052">Mr. Harris</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="G000552">Mr. Gohmert</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="F000469">Mr. Fulcher</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="R000614">Mr. Roy</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="M001211">Mrs. Miller of Illinois</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="P000599">Mr. Posey</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="P000605">Mr. Perry</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="N000190">Mr. Norman</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="C001104">Mr. Cawthorn</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="G000596">Mrs. Greene of Georgia</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="B001305">Mr. Budd</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="W000814">Mr. Weber of Texas</cosponsor>, and <cosponsor name-id="H001071">Mr. Hice of Georgia</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HGO00">Committee on Oversight and Reform</committee-name>, and in addition to the Committee on <committee-name committee-id="HHA00">House Administration</committee-name>, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned</action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To prohibit agencies from issuing vaccine passports, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body id="HB34385D8EBCF4A9CAED3F6A2AFD41F55" style="OLC"><section id="H2DC9B4A40DB14EE1953C2707AA9AB971" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>No Vaccine Passports Act</short-title></quote>. </text></section><section id="H12165977527E4A5B9A70606BE50C9027"><enum>2.</enum><header>Prohibition on agencies issuing vaccine passports</header><subsection id="H15EE851F7DC04EF4BD70C0CC339AE549"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">An agency may not issue a vaccine passport, vaccine pass, or other standardized documentation for the purpose of certifying the COVID–19 vaccination status of a citizen of the United States to a third party, or otherwise publish or share any COVID–19 vaccination record of a citizen of the United States, or similar health information.</text></subsection><subsection id="H8974D7CBE64A49DAB726BFF985667A91"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Agency defined</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In this section, the term <term>agency</term> has the meaning given that term in section 551 of title 5, United States Code. </text></subsection></section><section id="H12DEE0A0CC9D490BA4DD8FEF9AC0C30C" commented="no"><enum>3.</enum><header>Prohibition on requiring proof of COVID–19 vaccination for Federal access</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Proof of COVID–19 vaccination shall not be deemed a requirement for access to Federal property or Federal services, or for access to congressional grounds or services.</text></section></legis-body></bill>
