R. 2380</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20210408">April 8, 2021</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="A000370">Ms. Adams</sponsor> introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HPW00">Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To amend title 49, United States Code, to allow certain funds to be used for incremental costs of incorporating art into facilities, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body id="H31AB066F924B4BF39F4374B6D5AE6090" style="OLC"><section id="H7017B9D3562C408A9A2B28855C0C9B04" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Saving Transit Art Resources Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>STAR Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="H19AF0B6070204D2EAE79B006CFB1B483" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Allowing art</header><subsection id="HF13F4B9E05E745CBA14E0337A97494A0"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 5323(h) of title 49, United States Code, is amended—</text><paragraph id="H961DD6347A7B4390A84D2BAA41BD1264"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (1) by inserting <quote>or</quote> after the semicolon;</text></paragraph><paragraph id="H178A44A29F504E86902B1F33F737DDA8"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking paragraph (2); and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="H427B9A75DD954D3C80A4B0AC64419951"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by redesignating paragraph (3) as paragraph (2).</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HC7B5BB3B2AA743759CFBA16BB677420E"><enum>(b)</enum><header>No special rule</header><text>Section 5309 of such title is amended by—</text><paragraph id="H01AD13ECF08049CF950263ED56AA9A5F"><enum>(1)</enum><text>striking subsection (p); and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="HFFDC7D60DA9C4D108C6EC108840D612D"><enum>(2)</enum><text>redesignating subsection (q) as subsection (p).</text></paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
