Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act.</official-title></form><legis-body id="H9138F4A2B1434C7F87DE790741E4DA54" style="OLC"><section id="HFAFB949E132C45E5A43CB8C86539C37F" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Waiver of certain provisions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In the case of an emergency declared pursuant to section 501 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/5191">42 U.S.C. 5191</external-xref>), the Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency shall not require the application of <external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/41/83">chapter 83</external-xref> of title 41, United States Code, with respect to purchases made or contracts issued by Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, American Samoa, or the Virgin Islands of the United States. </text></section></legis-body></bill>
