RES. 90</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20220714">July 14, 2022</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="B001292">Mr. Beyer</sponsor> (for himself, <cosponsor name-id="W000825">Ms. Wexton</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="N000147">Ms. Norton</cosponsor>, and <cosponsor name-id="C001078">Mr. Connolly</cosponsor>) submitted the following joint resolution; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HVR00">Committee on Veterans' Affairs</committee-name>, and in addition to the Committee on <committee-name committee-id="HAS00">Armed Services</committee-name>, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned</action-desc></action><legis-type>JOINT RESOLUTION</legis-type><official-title display="yes">Redesignating the Robert E. Lee Memorial in Arlington National Cemetery as the <quote>Arlington House National Historic Site</quote>.</official-title></form><resolution-body style="traditional" id="HA38444CEF9F74900AF5785C9D244C927"><section display-inline="yes-display-inline" section-type="undesignated-section" id="H77A9EDDF077341B6B2A7307D9CCFC810"><enum/><text>That—</text><paragraph id="H92034079EE204196A3F14577F24E4F32"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the site administered by the National Park Service and dedicated as a memorial to Robert E. Lee pursuant to the joint resolution of June 29, 1955 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/84/107">Public Law 84–107</external-xref>; 69 Stat. 190), as amended by the joint resolution of June 30, 1972 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/92/333">Public Law 92–333</external-xref>; 86 Stat. 401), shall after the date of the enactment of this joint resolution be redesignated and known as the <quote>Arlington House National Historic Site</quote>;</text></paragraph><paragraph id="H781BEE6452D047F7A842B8E9CFB66336"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">any reference in any law, regulation, map, document, paper, or other record of the United States to the site referred to in paragraph (1) shall be considered to be a reference to the Arlington House National Historic Site; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="H7E2800B498D24494AD4294245E3B86BD"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the joint resolution of June 29, 1955 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/84/107">Public Law 84–107</external-xref>; 69 Stat. 190) and the joint resolution of June 30, 1972 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/92/333">Public Law 92–333</external-xref>; 86 Stat. 401) are repealed.</text></paragraph></section></resolution-body></resolution>
