RES. 15</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20210115">January 15, 2021</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="M001137">Mr. Meeks</sponsor> (for himself, <cosponsor name-id="C001078">Mr. Connolly</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="D000610">Mr. Deutch</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="L000582">Mr. Lieu</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="K000389">Mr. Khanna</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="L000551">Ms. Lee of California</cosponsor>, and <cosponsor name-id="M000312">Mr. McGovern</cosponsor>) submitted the following joint resolution; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HFA00">Committee on Foreign Affairs</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>JOINT RESOLUTION</legis-type><official-title display="yes">Providing for congressional disapproval of the proposed foreign military sale to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of certain defense articles and services.</official-title></form><resolution-body style="traditional" id="H114E9EE2CF0B4DE08E7ED4F47CD4D2C0"><section display-inline="yes-display-inline" section-type="undesignated-section" id="HA465E533278C434D9D0232F70159A794"><enum/><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">That the following proposed foreign military sale to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is prohibited:</text><paragraph id="HEE7CA2254EBB467CBE452D594BFF8113"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The transfer of the following defense articles, including defense services and technical data, described in Transmittal No. 20–13, submitted to Congress pursuant to section 36(b) of the Arms Export Control Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/22/2776">22 U.S.C. 2776(b)</external-xref>): The proposed sale of 3,000 GBU–39/B Small Diameter Bomb I (SDB I), including containers; weapon support and support equipment; spare and repair parts; U.S. Government and contractor engineering, technical and logisitical support services; and other related elements of logistical and program support.</text></paragraph></section></resolution-body></resolution>
