<enactingFormula style="-uslm-lc:I650120">  Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa­tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,</enactingFormula>
<section id="d106449e62" identifier="/us/bill/116/s/3758/s1" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I650146"><num value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>KLAMATH BASIN WATER SUPPLY ENHANCEMENT ACT OF 2000 TECHNICAL CORRECTIONS.</heading><chapeau class="indentUp0 firstIndent1 fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:I650120">  Section 4(b) of the Klamath Basin Water Supply Enhancement Act of 2000 (<ref href="/us/stat/114/2222">114 Stat. 2222</ref>; <ref href="/us/stat/132/3887">132 Stat. 3887</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction>—</chapeau><paragraph class="indentUp1 firstIndent1 fontsize10" id="d106449e77" identifier="/us/bill/116/s/3758/s1/1" style="-uslm-lc:I650122"><num style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><chapeau>in paragraph (1)—</chapeau><subparagraph class="indentUp1 firstIndent1 fontsize10" id="d106449e81" identifier="/us/bill/116/s/3758/s1/1/A" style="-uslm-lc:I650124"><num style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="A">(A) </num><chapeau>in the matter preceding subparagraph (A)—</chapeau><clause class="indentUp1 firstIndent1 fontsize10" id="d106449e85" identifier="/us/bill/116/s/3758/s1/1/A/i" style="-uslm-lc:I650126"><num style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="i">(i) </num><content>by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>Pursuant to the reclamation laws and subject</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>Subject</quotedText>”; and</content></clause><clause class="indentUp1 firstIndent1 fontsize10" id="d106449e96" identifier="/us/bill/116/s/3758/s1/1/A/ii" style="-uslm-lc:I650126"><num style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="ii">(ii) </num><content>by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>may</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>is authorized to</quotedText>”; and</content></clause></subparagraph><subparagraph class="indentUp1 firstIndent1 fontsize10" id="d106449e107" identifier="/us/bill/116/s/3758/s1/1/B" style="-uslm-lc:I650124"><num style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="B">(B) </num><content>in subparagraph (A), by <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>, including conservation and efficiency measures, land idling, and use of groundwater,</quotedText>” after “<quotedText>administer programs</quotedText>”;</content></subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph class="indentUp1 firstIndent1 fontsize10" id="d106449e115" identifier="/us/bill/116/s/3758/s1/2" style="-uslm-lc:I650122"><num style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>in paragraph (3)(A), by <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>and</quotedText>” after the semicolon at the end;</content></paragraph><paragraph class="indentUp1 firstIndent1 fontsize10" id="d106449e123" identifier="/us/bill/116/s/3758/s1/3" style="-uslm-lc:I650122"><num style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="3">(3) </num><content>by <amendingAction type="redesignate">redesignating</amendingAction> the second paragraph (4) (relating to the effect of the subsection) as paragraph (5); and</content></paragraph><paragraph class="indentUp1 firstIndent1 fontsize10" id="d106449e131" identifier="/us/bill/116/s/3758/s1/4" style="-uslm-lc:I650122"><num style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="4">(4) </num><chapeau>in paragraph (5) (as so redesignated)—</chapeau><subparagraph class="indentUp1 firstIndent1 fontsize10" id="d106449e135" identifier="/us/bill/116/s/3758/s1/4/A" style="-uslm-lc:I650124"><num style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="A">(A) </num><content>by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> subparagraph (B);</content></subparagraph><subparagraph class="indentUp1 firstIndent1 fontsize10" id="d106449e143" identifier="/us/bill/116/s/3758/s1/4/B" style="-uslm-lc:I650124"><num style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="B">(B) </num><content>in subparagraph (A), by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>; or</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> a period; and</content></subparagraph><subparagraph class="indentUp1 firstIndent1 fontsize10" id="d106449e154" identifier="/us/bill/116/s/3758/s1/4/C" style="-uslm-lc:I650124"><num style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="C">(C) </num><content>by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>the Secretary—</quotedText>” and all that follows through “<quotedText>to develop</quotedText>” in subparagraph (A) and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>the Secretary to develop</quotedText>”.</content></subparagraph></paragraph></section>
<section id="d106449e166" identifier="/us/bill/116/s/3758/s2" style="-uslm-lc:I650141"><num value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>CONTINUED USE OF PICK-SLOAN MISSOURI BASIN PROGRAM PROJECT USE POWER BY THE KINSEY IRRIGATION COMPANY AND THE SIDNEY WATER USERS IRRIGATION DISTRICT.</heading><subsection class="indentUp0 firstIndent1 fontsize10" id="d106449e170" identifier="/us/bill/116/s/3758/s2/a" style="-uslm-lc:I650120"><num style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading><inline class="smallCaps">Authorization</inline>.—</heading><content>Notwithstanding any other provision of law and subject to subsection (b), the Secretary of the Interior (acting through the Commissioner of Reclamation) shall continue to treat the irrigation pumping units known as the “Kinsey Irrigation Company” in Custer County, Montana and the “Sidney Water Users Irrigation District” in Richland County, Montana, or any successor to the Kinsey Irrigation Company or Sidney Water Users Irrigation District, as irrigation pumping units of the Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin Program for the purposes of wheeling, administration, and payment of project use power, including the applicability of provisions relating to the treatment of costs beyond the ability to pay under section 9 of the Act of December 22, 1944 (commonly known as the “Flood Control Act of 1944”) (<ref href="/us/stat/58/891/ch665">58 Stat. 891, chapter 665</ref>).</content></subsection><subsection class="indentUp0 firstIndent1 fontsize10" id="d106449e182" identifier="/us/bill/116/s/3758/s2/b" style="-uslm-lc:I650120"><num style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading><inline class="smallCaps">Limitation</inline>.—</heading><content>The quantity of power to be provided to the Kinsey Irrigation Company and the Sidney Water Users Irrigation District (including any successor to the Kinsey Irrigation Company or the Sidney Water Users Irrigation District) under subsection (a) may not exceed the maximum quantity of power provided to the Kinsey Irrigation Company and the Sidney Water Users Irrigation District under the applicable contract for electric service in effect on the date of enactment of this Act.</content></subsection></section>
