		<official-title>To amend the Native American Programs Act of 1974 to provide flexibility and reauthorization to
			 ensure the survival and continuing vitality of Native American languages.</official-title>

		<section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header>
 <text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Esther Martinez Native American Languages Programs Reauthorization Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
 </section><section id="idf0be7ee293e246c389d37e76d5e9f705"><enum>2.</enum><header>Native American Languages Grant Program</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 803C of the Native American Programs Act of 1974 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/2991b-3">42 U.S.C. 2991b–3</external-xref>) is amended—</text> <paragraph id="id836d4d54df0846c793ddb4461a8ed90b"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection (b)(7)—</text>
 <subparagraph id="id5dfa0823717c4aeab8a4bd51492851bf"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in subparagraph (A)(i), by striking <quote>10</quote> and inserting <quote>5</quote>; and</text> </subparagraph><subparagraph id="id328263e9cd3b484691a77b4b950d3292"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in subparagraph (B)(i), by striking <quote>15</quote> and inserting <quote>10</quote>; and</text>
 </subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="id41c6bfd8b0a043cbb9d005602b1a3c08"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (e)(2)—</text> <subparagraph id="id51dee7ceaac844bea189fbfeed1659e4"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking <quote>or 3-year basis</quote> and inserting <quote>3-year, 4-year, or 5-year basis</quote>; and</text>
 </subparagraph><subparagraph id="id952c3f4394b1437cbbec825ab21e5e83"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by inserting <quote>, 4-year, or 5-year</quote> after <quote>on a 3-year</quote>.</text> </subparagraph></paragraph></section><section id="id555d70439bfc449d9b42b16d2ef9e177"><enum>3.</enum><header>Reauthorization of Native American Languages Program</header> <subsection id="id262d8a85778a4ea1b8ef9e8dc57054c9"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Section 816(e) of the Native American Programs Act of 1974 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/2992d">42 U.S.C. 2992d(e)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>such sums</quote> and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting <quote>$13,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2020 through 2024.</quote>.</text>
 </subsection><subsection id="idde543b2feb094b00813e535d38f6db96"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Technical correction</header><text>Section 816 of the Native American Programs Act of 1974 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/2992d">42 U.S.C. 2992d</external-xref>) is amended in subsections (a) and (b) by striking <quote>subsection (e)</quote> each place it appears and inserting <quote>subsection (d)</quote>.</text>
