		<section id="id9C9BC3A477C44F25873C7A0D336566C2" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Authority for continuation of service of  the Deputy Administrator of the Federal Aviation
			 Administration</header>
 <subsection id="id14FBF0A8E97247C5A64123F3E7181E8D"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">An individual serving as Deputy Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration on the date of enactment of this Act may continue to serve as such Deputy Administrator, without regard to the restrictions specified in the 5th sentence of section 106(d)(1) of title 49, United States Code.</text>
 </subsection><subsection id="id2B174BC67CBF42DD98D268D81591D3C8"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Rule of construction</header><text>Nothing in this Act shall be construed as approval by Congress of any future appointments of military persons to the Offices of Administrator and Deputy Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.</text>
