<section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H3A6C285BEC0043E890F6935EB4B5787F" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Lifespan Respite Care Reauthorization Act of 2020</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H747BB418647A4A6E912C2DD724B3AAB9" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Reauthorization of lifespan respite care program</header> <subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HEBB7C34B577643C5845724C59CC324EF"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Data collection and reporting</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 2904 of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/300ii-3">42 U.S.C. 300ii–3</external-xref>) is amended to read as follows:</text>

<section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H30A5D4A20BDC47FFA7B08FFC0BD77A1E" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2904.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Data collection and reporting</header> 
<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H4EED0839B5AE439797E6287847E06B39"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Each State agency awarded a grant or cooperative agreement under section 2902 shall report such data, information, and metrics as the Secretary may require for purposes of—</text> <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H92EBA3572F4642E79A193F9B4C40A233"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">evaluating State programs and activities funded pursuant to such grant or cooperative agreement, including any results pursuant to section 2902(d)(2)(B)(xii); and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H7042ED84A42E4C12B8CD2C842F303031"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">identifying effective programs and activities funded pursuant to section 2902.</text></paragraph></subsection> <subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H6582B740A3C3483CA76AF6138D9622F7"><enum>(b)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Report</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than October 1, 2023, the Secretary shall submit a report to the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions of the Senate and the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives regarding the outcomes of the programs and activities funded pursuant to section 2902, including any effective programs and activities identified.</text></subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection> 
<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HAACF3235F4E64E0EB51B6DEB94305ED7"><enum>(b)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Funding</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 2905 of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/300ii-4">42 U.S.C. 300ii–4</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>title</quote> and all that follows through the period and inserting <quote>title, $10,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2020 through fiscal year 2024.</quote>.</text></subsection></section> </legis-body></bill>
