<section id="HCDAF2A140BFE42E3A4C70118537127E4" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Debbie Smith Reauthorization Act of 2019</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H71ABC0DAC8E14C35945DA63B65310E98"><enum>2.</enum><header>Reauthorization</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 2 of the DNA Analysis Backlog Elimination Act of 2000 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/34/40701">34 U.S.C. 40701</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
<paragraph id="H517F7EBAFAF44F3C95F34A091BB674F4"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection (c)(3)—</text> <subparagraph id="HCA3A5F019DA048E4BBB20257341E4305"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in subparagraph (B), by striking <quote>2014 through 2019</quote> and inserting <quote>2019 through 2024</quote>; and</text></subparagraph>
<subparagraph id="H23F042BAC5EA42019EE2A80B6E0208FB"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in subparagraph (C), by striking <quote>2014 through 2019</quote> and inserting <quote>2019 through 2024</quote>; and</text></subparagraph></paragraph> <paragraph id="HB0F5E873C93340D5914C1A4A0BE8D8C7"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (j), by striking <quote>2015 through 2019</quote> and inserting <quote>2019 through 2024</quote>.</text></paragraph></section>
<section id="H70B1EDB144B846FABE444DE7F0207C7A"><enum>3.</enum><header>Training and education</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 303(b) of the DNA Sexual Assault Justice Act of 2004 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/34/40722">34 U.S.C. 40722(b)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>2015 through 2019</quote> and inserting <quote>2019 through 2024</quote>.</text></section> <section id="H7EC3A1C992C8421F8293EAA41425CBFD"><enum>4.</enum><header>Sexual assault forensic exam grants</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 304(d) of the DNA Sexual Assault Justice Act of 2004 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/34/40723">34 U.S.C. 40723(d)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>2015 through 2019</quote> and inserting <quote>2019 through 2024</quote>.</text></section>
