<section id="d976e62" identifier="/us/bill/116/hr/4285/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I650146"><num value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I650120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">Department of Veterans Affairs Expiring Authorities Act of 2019</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d976e72" identifier="/us/bill/116/hr/4285/s2" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I650141"><num value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY RELATING TO VENDEE LOANS.</heading><chapeau class="indentUp0 firstIndent1 fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:I650120">  <ref href="/us/usc/t38/s3733/a/7">Section 3733(a)(7) of title 38, United States Code</ref>, <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction>—</chapeau><paragraph class="indentUp1 firstIndent1 fontsize10" id="d976e84" identifier="/us/bill/116/hr/4285/s2/1" style="-uslm-lc:I650122"><num style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content>in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>September 30, 2019</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>September 30, 2020</quotedText>”; and</content></paragraph><paragraph class="indentUp1 firstIndent1 fontsize10" id="d976e95" identifier="/us/bill/116/hr/4285/s2/2" style="-uslm-lc:I650122"><num style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>in subparagraph (C), by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>September 30, 2019,</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>September 30, 2020,</quotedText>”.</content></paragraph></section>
<section id="d976e107" identifier="/us/bill/116/hr/4285/s3" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I650141"><num value="3">SEC. 3. </num><heading>EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY FOR OPERATION OF DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS REGIONAL OFFICE IN MANILA, THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I650120">  <ref href="/us/usc/t38/s315/b">Section 315(b) of title 38, United States Code</ref>, <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>September 30, 2019</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>September 30, 2020</quotedText>”.</content></section>
<section id="d976e127" identifier="/us/bill/116/hr/4285/s4" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I650141"><num value="4">SEC. 4. </num><heading>EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR VERY LOW-INCOME VETERAN FAMILIES IN PERMANENT HOUSING.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I650120">  <ref href="/us/usc/t38/s2044/e/1/G">Section 2044(e)(1)(G) of title 38, United States Code</ref>, <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>fiscal year 2019</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>each of fiscal years 2019 through 2021</quotedText>”.</content></section>
<section id="d976e146" identifier="/us/bill/116/hr/4285/s5" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I650141"><num value="5">SEC. 5. </num><heading>EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY EXPANSION OF PAYMENTS AND ALLOWANCES FOR BENEFICIARY TRAVEL IN CONNECTION WITH VETERANS RECEIVING CARE FROM VET CENTERS.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I650120">  Section 104(a) of the Honoring America’s Veterans and Caring for Camp Lejeune Families Act of 2012 (<ref href="/us/pl/112/154">Public Law 112–154</ref>; <ref href="/us/stat/126/1169">126 Stat. 1169</ref>), as most recently amended by section 109 of the Department of Veterans Affairs Expiring Authorities Act of 2018 (<ref href="/us/pl/115/251">Public Law 115–251</ref>; <ref href="/us/stat/132/3169">132 Stat. 3169</ref>), <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>September 30, 2019</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>September 30, 2020</quotedText>”.</content></section>
