<section id="H86684C2F40024A08876697172842C279" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Respect State Marijuana Laws Act of 2017</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H87A21C21A5AB447A8849D6F46448D753"><enum>2.</enum><header>Rule regarding application to marihuana</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Part G of the Controlled Substances Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/21/801">21 U.S.C. 801</external-xref> et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>

<section id="HF1787A871B9C44F68EAC5A93673E4E93"><enum>710.</enum><header>Rule regarding application to marihuana</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the provisions of this subchapter related to marihuana shall not apply to any person acting in compliance with State laws relating to the production, possession, distribution, dispensation, administration, or delivery of marihuana.</text></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section> </legis-body></bill>
